A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH (1987)

The New Universe (Earth-148611) titles that aren't selling begin to wind down and Mark Hazzard is the first to go. Permanently.

Mark Hazzard finds out who's been manipulating him these past few months, including his ex-wife's new husband Gordon. He bursts into the family home, and is shot by Gordon but manages to strangle him to death before collapsing in front of his wife and son.

Hazzard is on life support in hospital as he recalls the events of his life before he slips into a coma and his life support is turned off.

Like a girlfriend that's broken up with you but somehow seems to hang around all the time so you cant meet anyone else, Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman finally leave. With Ms Marvel and Crystal fully accepted as new members of the team, the Fantastic Four head to the hospital where Diablo was meant to be recovering. Instead, he's sending demons all about the place to cause havoc. The team defeat him and announce the new line-up.

During the second year of the New Universe, the teams experience some shake-ups over on Earth-148611...

Despite having been a member of Psi-Force for over a year, Michael Crawley is still struggling with his pyrokinetic powers. He's picked up by representatives from the Clinic for Paranormal Research where he's befriended by Scuzz, formerly of DP7.

Scuzz renames Michael Crawley Dynamite and adds him to the ranks of his DDTeens who begin competing with a rival gang from the Clinic, the Black Powers.
