The last wedding I attended was successful but was filled with lots of drama. I have never had to play any significant role at weddings I attended previously, but the last one was a little special because I wasn't just a guest there. I actually knew the bride's family so closely that I could also be considered family. Weddings are the nightmare of every event planner. Right from the pre-planning months up until the time when the couples finally make it to the altar and then the reception after.

Developing a theme for the wedding, choosing the right wedding gown and tuxedo, deciding sitting placements both at the church and later at the reception, getting the right band or DJ, contracting the perfect MC. A nightmare filled with dreams of beauty and romance. Creating one special day filled with the illusions of a fairytale where the spouses get to be in the spotlight and usually like most couples say when being interviewed about their feelings afterwards "It's the happiest day of my life." Planning a wedding is a nightmare, having it end beautifully is a dream come true but what if your favourite musician were to show up at your wedding just before it ended and performed one of your favourite song from any of his albums?

Would it make your already special day more special?
